I believe that students nowadays are aware of the broadband compared to the students in our generation. i tend to agree with Joyce about the writing guidance. you give clear point that can be use as a point in writing task. however, for critical task, you can ask the students to think the new task that broadband can provide to the future generation rather than internet connection only.- zureza-

Thanks for sharing this piece of valuable information! Of course,I do know a few of the advantages of having a broadband for connection. However, the information you've provided is more than I thought.

I'd like to share some experience of mine using Broadband here. The illustration below is for Celcom,Maxis and Digi broadband.

For the advantage of large volume of data that can be transferred, filesharing as well as downloading movies and songs,I don't deny the fact that broadband really has these advantages. However, when the data has reached its limit, though they will be no extra charge for use after the limit, the speed will decreased more than 50%. Then, surfing the Net will be really slow.

Apart from that, broadband connection might be affected by the weather. When the weather is going to be heavy rainy day,the connection might be weakened and thus, affect the connection speed.
